STEREOVAULT, from Mastering The Mix, is a superb tool for manipulating the stereo image of individual tracks in a mix, as well as on your master bus. STEREOVAULT can analyze your mix and then suggest, based on the type of music and genre, a smart preset which provides an excellent starting point. You can then tweak your results further. The output of the plugin can always be level matched so you can compare the results on the changes to the stereo image and not be biased by any level changes. STEREOVAULT provides six different processing tabs, each with its own categaory of stereo transformation. The Spread tab provides three modes designed for clean, predictable stereo enhancing that translates well in mono: Pristine, Diffuse, and Vintage. The Creative tab provides five modes designed for adding bold, characterful stereo width using spatial effects: Stretch, Flux, Chorus, Haas, and Space. The Panorama tab provides two modes for panning and positioning audio across the stereo field using four distinct methods, including modes that adjust Mid or Side content independently so you can reposition elements without pulling the whole image off-centre: Pan and Skew. The Rotate tab provides three modes designed for changing the position of the stereo image by rotating the selected signal: Stereo, Mid, and Side. The Width tab provides two modes designed for redistributing Mid and Side energy, letting you push centre content outward or bringing side content closer to the middle: Blend and Balance. The Clean tab provides two modes designed for a transparent Side or Mid EQ that boosts or cuts the Side or Mid signal in dB, shaping stereo width with maximum clarity and excellent mono compatibility: Side and Mid. The processing can be performed in up to six frequency bands with the crossover frequencies and filter slopes fully adjustable. Four popup panels are accessible from the four corners of the interface and only appear when needed so as to not clutter the display area.
